Will you take traditional or candid photographs at our wedding?
ecco photography specialises in relaxed, reportage-style photography because we feel that this captures the most natural images of your day; however, many couples (and parents) prefer, traditional group shots so we make sure this style is available. Most weddings combine a mixture of both styles but we do recommend no more than eight traditional groups so we have enough time for the candid shots and more time to concentrate on the bride and groom.

How long do you spend at our wedding?
We start taking pictures in the morning as the bride gets ready and stay until the first dance and sometimes later. This, of course, is optional and depends on your requirements.

Are photos available on the night?
Yes. Depending on the venue, we will print selected photographs for your guests to take away.

How far will you travel?
We will travel throughout Scotland and the north of England. A mileage charge of £0.45 per mile applies for locations more than 50 miles from Glasgow.

How do family and friends see our photos?
As well as your slideshow, your images will appear on the ecco photography website within one week of your wedding.

When can we see the photos?
Your photographs will be able to view two weeks after your wedding. We will send you a proofing CD containing a slideshow in pdf format to view on your computer. Once you have selected your images, your album will be ready within four weeks. Digital images of selected albums are also included.

I'm interested in the coverage-only option. How does this work?
Our usual service applies and instead of providing an album, couples receive a DVD of all the images in hi-resolution, print-ready format. This enables couples to source their own album. All the images still appear on the website for friends and family to choose from.

Do you offer black and white or sepia images, as well as color?
Yes. Black and white or colour-toned better images are available for a selection of images and will be included on your proofing CD.

How do we book ecco photography?
When you decide to book ecco photography, we'lI will send you a wedding photography contract. Simply sign it and return it with a deposit for £200 to reserve your wedding date. We only photograph one wedding per day and dates are booked on a first come, first served basis.

When do we pay for our wedding?
The balance of the payment is required two weeks in advance of the wedding date.

How much do you charge?
There are no hidden costs. The basic charge is £600 for the coverage-only option, with the album packages starting at £850. This includes VAT. Discounts are available for mid-week and shorter weddings. A mileage charge of £0.45 per mile applies for any locations more than 50 miles from Glasgow.

Can I obtain the photographs after my wedding?
Yes. ecco photography retains copyright of all the photographs taken and retains the right to use the photographs for promotional purposes (such as displays at wedding fairs, advertising or this website). With the coverage-only package, the digital images are supplied on DVD to enable you to obtain prints. Supply of digital images is not part of the album packages. However, we can make all the images available to you in print-ready jpg format on DVD. There is a £100 administration charge if you are interested in this option. We will always keep your images stored safely in case you want to order prints in the future.
